Glycols
Diethylene Glycol (DEG)
Polyester polyols are used as an intermediate for unsaturated polyester resins, buffet heaters, morpholine production, paints and coatings, plasticizers, liquid laundry detergent, cement grinding, and polyethylene glycol. It is also used as a humidifier in the tobacco industry, as a snow spray in aircraft and railways, and as a thinner in the glue industry.
Monoethylene Glycol (MEG)
It is mainly used to manufacture polyester, fiber and PET resins. Since it has a low freezing point, it is one of the main areas of use in the automotive industry, in coolant and antifreezes, in brake fluids, as solvent fluid, in cellulose esters and ethers, in the cosmetics industry, varnish, paint and alkyd, ink industry.
Propylene Glycol (PG)
Some of those; It is used in organic synthesis, especially in propylene glycol and polyester resins, cellophane and antifreeze solutions. It is used as a solvent for oils, greases, waxes, and resins. It is used in flavorings, perfumes and light syrups. It is used as a coolant for cooling systems. The fluidizer is used as the hydraulic fluid. It is used as a stabilizer in the textile industry, as a solvent and wetting agent in the food industry, in the pharmaceutical and health industry, especially in molds and fungi, in creams and sun lotions. It is used as an anti-icing agent in vehicle brake systems, airlines and airfields.
Butyl Glycol (BG)
Butyl Glycol, an excellent auxiliary chemical in water-based paints, is a low volatile solvent with a low odour, at a high boiling point. It is used as a component in water-based paints and coatings.
